Pain Versus Beauty

When you are looking at the ballerina, you only see her light feather like weight, serenity flawlessness and pure beauty.

When you are looking at the athlete you see his well build muscles and perfectly shaped body.

When you are looking at a woman you admire her good looks.

How easy it is to overlook the whole process of attaining the end result that we admire. Looking at the ballerina how many of you think of her bloody, sore toes nicely hidden in her beautiful ballerinas? How many of you think of all of her falls before she actually could perform. How come all the truth is hidden, and we don't enjoy looking at such images?

How many of us think of amount of hours, weights, effort and plenty of sweat admiring the body sculpture of a champion?

In these two cases pain and extremely hard work towards the end result was a choice in most cases.
It is a pain that was rewarded with an applause, medal or great name and title.
There are actually people who consciously agree on a temporary pain as they know it will lead them to the fame they acquire.

Even though pain is not something that one could possibly enjoy, but obviously there are many instances in which it's a choice rewarded with beauty of some sort.

Hey, they say braces make pretty faces:-)

A woman is someone who doesn't really have too much choice when it comes to pain. She doesn't only have to bare it but needs to bare it gracefully. She isn't rewarded with price or title or fame. Pain in woman's life is granted as integral part of her existence.
Children suppose to be the reward and surely they are. They are born in pain. It's told that once a woman holds her baby who she has been pushing out forgets her pain instantly. But still to be exact, she chose to have a baby, she didn't ask for that painful experience. As they say behind every beautiful thing there is some kind of pain.

Pain then is a great deal in many lives. By enduring pain we may: accomplish, learn and experience lots of things. From waxing your eyebrows, legs through heavy exercises and delivering babies we are getting beauty of some sort.
No matter in which case scenario I can't really recall anyone who is sitting and smiling and enjoying that sore feeling with one exception! A woman holding her new born!

It makes me wonder then, is pain something we should really feel?

"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:3,4

Since it's so human to deal with pain, it even becomes a pain to look and find solutions and remedies that could possibly lesser this sensation. Lucky are these who can take advantage of such as there are many who are immune to any help that is out there. For sure then pain makes you stronger.

Despite of it women somehow manage to hide it gracefully.
Strong women wear their pain like stilettos. No matter how much it hurts all you see is the beauty of it.- Highheeledlife.com

I am sure that by now you have figured out that I am sympathising with all the woman suffering from endometriosis. I know that pain is your second name. And until we are still looking to find solution that works we must wear it as make up.

"Sometimes the pain we wear from day to day, becomes the make up hiding our pain. While still revealing the beauty it is creating out of strength to endure it!"  Elique Chavez, Author/Poet
